This hospital seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant. This position reports to the Director of Rehabilitation Services. The Physical Therapist Assistant plans,coordinates and implements patient care and progress patient care plans in the assigned area inpatient,outpatient,or CCC departments. Performs patient related responsibilities delegated by and under the supervision of the Physical Therapist. Must work well under stress or tight deadlines. Must work well with supervisors,coworkers,patients/residents,family members and visitors. This position reports to the Director of Rehabilitation Services. The Physical Therapist Assistant plans,coordinates and implements patient care and progress,patient care plans in the assigned area inpatient,outpatient,or CCC departments. Education: PT Assistant with current valid California license,Acceptance of application for State of California PTA Licensing Examination and current valid CPR certification. Experience: New graduate may be considered. Cert/License: Valid PT Assistant California license and CPR Certification. Skills/Ability: Knowledge of physical therapy treatment to patients of all ages. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Exhibits the ability to organize work assignments and follow through with accuracy exercise good judgment,demonstrate initiative and emotional stability,tact and poise. $21.89 to 29.33.
